This year the GSA is proud to host the inaugural Texas Black & White Awards ceremony and social in honor of those who have exhibited vision, dynamic leadership, and uncompromising devotion to the UT student body. In particular, we wish to recognize student leaders who have worked tirelessly to help this university achieve lasting change, not just on these Forty Acres but beyond, in the UT global community.

The awards ceremony and social event will take place on February 28 at 6 PM in the WCP (formerly SAC) ballroom. Leaders who receive this award (see award criteria below) will be recognized for their efforts and commitment to students. At this event, we will also be recognizing two major groups comprising administration and student leaders who have been hard at work this year to improve the lives of students and the safety of this campus.
