Hosted by Texas Exes, Longhorns on the Hill is a gathering of Texas Longhorns in Washington DC. Happening in September, this event is a convergence of current students, alumni, administrators, and policy makers. This full day of events includes a Congressional appreciation breakfast for the Texas delegation, volunteer meetings on the Hill with policy makers and their staffs, and an evening barbeque event in celebration of The University of Texas. The purpose of Longhorns on the Hill is to advocate for federal support of Texas higher education and other interests of The University of Texas.
